The city centre series - seven days, access all areas

From Monday the 14 December to Sunday 20 December there will be a series of 1pm tours exploring all the various quarters of the city centre. The tours will last one and a half hours but if you can only spare 45 minutes then come along anyway, it's up to you.

The commentary will be lively, the places we visit impressive or interesting, depending on their character. There will be a lot of laughs and loads of fascinating facts. 

Of course Covid-19 safety protocols will have to be in place.

The ticket price is £12 but you can buy three of the tours for the price of two at £24. See below. 

Monday 14 December 1pm
Northern Quarter and Ancoats Tour
Meet: Stevenson Square, outside Fred Aldous store.


Tuesday 15 December 1pm
King Street/ Cross Street/ St Ann’s Square Tour
Meet at the top end of King Street at the junction with Spring Gardens.


Wednesday 16 December 1pm
Cathedral/ Corporation Street/ Angel Meadow Tour
Meet outside the west porch of Manchester Cathedral.


Thursday 17 December 1pm
Deansgate/ St Mary’s/ Spinningfields Tour
Meet at the junction of Deansgate and Blackfriars Street.


Friday 18 December 1pm
Castlefield and St John’s Tour 
Meet at the junction of Deansgate and St John's Street


Saturday 19 December 1pm
Chinatown/ Piccadilly/ Village Tour
Meet outside Manchester Art Gallery


Sunday 20 December 1pm
St Peter’s Square to All Saints Tour
Meet outside Central Library
