Welcome in 2026 with a general tour of the city centre of Manchester covering the city and its exciting past, present and future. Many of my tours cover a specialist topic or focus on a building, individual or a specific theme.
Sometimes it's good to go general.
On this tour we have a wander through the city centre covering all the epochs of Manchester's history and looking into a crystal ball for what might happen in the future. The tour is full of huge personalities and big stories mingled with details we may easily miss that should charm and delight. We also pass by and even enter some spectacular buildings.
