London Road Fire Station Visits - Calling all photographers and sketchers

MEETING POINT IS OUTSIDE THE MAIN ENTRANCE ON LONDON ROAD

The tours of London Road Fire Station have been incredibly popular selling out time and time again. The tours are limited to July and August, 2016. The popularity shows how much affection this spectacular 1906 building holds for Mancunians, native and adopted.

Due to countless requests from photographers and sketchers Allied London have now agreed to extra access for longer periods. This means that people can set up tripods or settle down with their pens and pencils and have longer to compose images than on the regular guided tour of the building.

Thus, there will be two hour access on Saturday 20 August (10am-noon) for photographers and two and a half hour access for sketchers on Saturday 20 August (3pm-5.30pm).

Guides will be on hand to field any enquiries about the building, its architecture, details and story.

Tickets are the same price as for the regular tours, £10.

Please ONLY book if you are a photographer or a sketcher, remember these are not the regular tours and people without the photographic or sketching materials will not be allowed access.
