You can take the girl out of Glasgow but.......

I took around nine Glaswegian travel operators on Saturday. Lovely people and all women. They must kill male travel operators in that city. Usual thing. They had scarely been to Manchester before and so taking them into John Rylands Library and off the beaten track down side streets made them swoon with joy. Sort of.

The city was looking good in a cold clear winter sun and there was loads of street action taking place. The women, despite some over forties, all thought Affleck's Palace a total blast.

We had refreshments in Teacup, Gary McClanananananananananannanan's place. I think that's how you spell his name. Some had tea, some had coffee, others had hot chocolate. One of the younger members of the group, who seemed surprised by the notion of a tour at all asked for Irn Bru - the famous Glaswegian 'pop'. Bless her. Teacup didn't have it. And then being that sort of place didn't have Coca Cola either. Despite the offer of organic dandelion and burdock she settled on orange juice.

Good on to the Lowry Hotel for bringing the people down though.

The fast growth and widespread use of aluminum since World War II is coupled directly to the ability of anodizing processes to defend it from corrosion, improve its appearance by brightening it and offering a rainbow of colors, and also imparting ceramic-like toughness to its outer skin.

With the onset of the Industrial Revolution, the population and economy of Glasgow and the surrounding region expanded exponentially to become one of the world's pre eminent centres of heavy engineering most notably in the shipbuilding and marine engineering industry, which produced many innovative and famous vessels. Thanks for sharing.

Thousands of holiday homeowners affected by a series of recent tax changes which will affect their income, capital gains and inheritance tax planning could be forgiven for feeling they deserve a break from HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC).

A healthy couple without any known fertility problems only has a 25 percent chance of conceiving during any given cycle. So if it's taking a while to get pregnant, be patient. Medical professionals define infertility as the inability to get pregnant after 12 consecutive cycles of trying.

I’m just wondering if the guy on the left has different color headphones for all of his outfits. And, let’s not overlook the Britney Spears shirt the guy on the right is wearing.

The most important item to shop for before the wedding is the wedding dress and the rings. After that is accomplished, shop for items such as the groom's tuxedo, the flower girl and ring bearer, bridesmaids and groomsmen's outfits
